Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday available. As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Screener in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence will support a secure environment while you interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. * Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support security-related operations. * Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures. * Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure and welcoming environment. * Remain alert and observant while monitoring for potential security-related concerns throughout the logistics and distribution location. Minimum Requirements: * At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
