Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate. * Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and visitors, verify credentials and/or approvals, and document access activity in accordance with site policies. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for conditions that could impact operations and reporting security-related concerns promptly. * Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations at a chemical and petrochemical location by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, delivery activity, and visitor movement. Minimum Requirements: * Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. * Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Access control and badge experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
