Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor activity, and support smooth site operations. This role offers the chance to stay visible, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a logistics and distribution location. * Monitor gates, entrances, and shipping and receiving areas to help support authorized access, assist with visitor processing, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or security-related incidents. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as appropriate. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and trailer yards, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by location. * Complete required logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and assist with enforcing site rules related to deliveries, pickups, vehicle access, and restricted areas. Minimum Requirements: * A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
