Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor screening points, inspect items and/or access areas, and support a professional, customer-focused atmosphere. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location. * Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership. * Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipment-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, operational issues, and/or potential policy violations. Minimum Requirements: * Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * X-Ray screening experience is preferred. * CPR certification is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
