Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol - Commercial RE in ANNAPOLIS, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer supporting a busy commercial real estate location. You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to reduce security-related concerns, assist tenants and visitors with directions and service needs, and document observations using site technology. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
* Monitor access points and property activity, verify credentials when required, and/or assist with visitor and vendor check-in according to site procedures.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documenting observations, and notifying site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
* Complete detailed reports and activity logs, communicate relevant information during shift transitions, and/or support investigations by preserving observations and available information.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 1+ years of security experience is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
