Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Route in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, make routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle to cover larger areas and respond to calls for assistance. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial property environment.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
* Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, taking appropriate action consistent with post orders and local procedures.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
* Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time, communicating relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and oncoming officers.
Minimum Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
