Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Distribution Patrol Driver FT in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, engaging in emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. * Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to site protocols. * Communicate professionally and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters. * Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies. * Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as needed. Minimum Requirements: * At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * Must be at least 21 years of age. * CPR certification is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
