Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Distribution Center Access in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help support smooth site operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, process visitor and delivery access, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts in accordance with site procedures. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, as work environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: * At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Loss prevention experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
