Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Dealership Patrol Driver in Clinton, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at an automotive location, you will make routine rounds, monitor key areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle as needed to support patrol coverage and respond to calls for service. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or office location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, assessing conditions, and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
* Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing temporary badges as directed by site policy, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
* Complete timely written reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and support site procedures for alarms, deliveries, and after-hours access.

Minimum Requirements:

* A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
