As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with calm communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local emergency services as directed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
* Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and support visitor management and wayfinding while maintaining a professional presence.
* Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns, and complete required logs and/or reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines may be required.
* Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
* Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
