Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Community Access Driver in Travelers Rest, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a residential community. In this role, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the location. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will be key as you interact with residents and guests. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you help maintain a welcoming and secure environment.

 Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the residential community.
* Monitor access points and verify the credentials of residents, guests, and vendors to help control entry to the location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any irregularities.
* Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
* Assist with emergency response activities as required, collaborating with residents and local authorities as appropriate.
* Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide assistance to residents and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Access control or badge experience is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
