What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support property rules, assist with directional questions, and document security-related incidents and/or maintenance issues.
* Help to deter unauthorized activity, loitering, and/or policy violations through visible presence, routine patrols, and timely communication with management and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
* A guard card or is required.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
