Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol Driver in East Saint Louis, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a chemical or petrochemical location. This position is primarily a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will also engage with visitors and staff, provide exceptional customer service, and support access control, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

 Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
* Monitor access points and observe for any irregularities or suspicious behavior within the chemical and petrochemical location.
* Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to report security-related incidents or concerns.
* Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
* Adhere to all site-specific protocols and guidelines, especially those related to chemical and petrochemical operations, to help to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
