Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Access in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do: * Monitor and control access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or breaches of security-related protocols. * Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following established site procedures. * Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries related to access control and security-related matters. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or conditions. * Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific policies. * Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during emergency situations or drills. * Remain alert to potential hazards and/or disruptions specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, reporting concerns promptly. Minimum Requirements: * A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required. * A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
