Responsibilities: Security Officer (Path to Armed) - Up to $20.55 / hr Location: St. Louis, MO Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers who are motivated to grow into an armed role within six months. This position offers a clear advancement path, allowing you to begin in an unarmed capacity and increase your earnings upon successful completion of armed certification requirements. Pay That Grows With You * Starting Pay: $18.93/hr (Unarmed) * Increased Pay: $20.55/hr (Upon becoming armed within 6 months) What You'll Do * Provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures * Follow site-specific policies and respond to emergency situations as needed * Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner * Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas What You'll Need * Must be 21+ years of age * High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience * 1+ year of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred * Valid driver's license with a good driving record * Willingness to become armed within 6 months of hire * Ability to pass background check and drug screening (as permitted by law) * Ability to complete required training and licensing based on state/local requirements *A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Perks and Benefits: * Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions * Schedules that fit with your personal life goals * Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities * Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more Qualifications: Allied Universal(r) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
