Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support site operations with strong customer service, clear communication, and a team-focused approach grounded in integrity, reliability, and innovation. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and visitor processing protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities. * Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location through consistent access control practices. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site procedures. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns. * Communicate with property management, tenants, vendors, and emergency personnel as needed regarding access issues, after-hours entry requests, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
