Join Allied Universal at an education location as an armed patrol officer, where you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to reduce security-related incidents through strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. You will contribute to a caring, people-first team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity.

 Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or medical personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
* Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through established communication channels.
* Complete written reports and incident documentation, and support campus events and high-traffic periods with visible armed presence as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* An armed guard card/license is required.
* Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
* Be at least 21+ years of age.
* Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
