Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Site - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity. * Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by the location's policies. * Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious behavior and report findings to the appropriate parties. * Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft through visible presence and attentive patrols. * Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal protocols. * Collaborate with location staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed. Minimum Requirements: * An armed guard card or license is required. * Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only. * CPR and first aid certification is preferred. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
