You will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while remaining highly visible. This armed post requires a valid armed guard card or license. What You'll Do: * Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients at food and beverage production and distribution locations. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as required by the post profile. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats. * Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry. * Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management. * Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when appropriate, following established communication procedures. * Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuation and/or lockdown procedures as outlined in site-specific protocols. * Remain alert to unusual activities and/or conditions that may require intervention, reporting any observations promptly to site management and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: * Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
