Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed05:45 AM - 06:00 PMThur05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSun05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government corrections location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require armed presence and rapid communication. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. * Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity in accordance with site protocols. * Support staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by giving directions, maintaining post awareness, and following established procedures for movement, entry, and incident reporting. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * An armed guard card or license is preferred. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
