Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and actions taken. * Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations. * Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with location protocols, verifying credentials and directing visitors, patients, and vendors as needed. * Support healthcare personnel during security-related calls for service, including de-escalation support, escort assistance, and response to situations involving disruptive individuals. Minimum Requirements: * Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. * Possess an armed guard card or license. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
