Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Armed Institution Patrol in Monroe, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing visible presence and exceptional customer service. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of routine patrols. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential concerns.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
* Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed for incidents occurring on or near the premises.
* Operate and maintain any assigned security-related equipment, including radios and access control devices, in accordance with site procedures.
* Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
* Remain alert to unusual circumstances or potential threats within the location, reporting findings to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
* An armed guard card or license is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
