Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . 

 As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to act with professionalism and integrity at all times. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of Allied Universal. Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

 What You'll Do: 

*  Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites 
*  Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education 
*  Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams 
*  Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service 
*  Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise 

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
* Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
* Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
* Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and the public within the government facility.

*  Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available 

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
* Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
* Must possess an armed guard card or license.
* Must have a valid corrections officer license.
* Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
