Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Specialist in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference.  Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
* Monitor for suspicious behaviors and/or activities and report findings according to site protocols.
* Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while upholding security-related standards.
* Operate and maintain awareness of site-specific security-related systems and equipment as required for an armed patrol post.
* Prepare and submit clear, concise reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have at least 2 years of security experience.
* Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
* Must have an armed guard card or license.
* Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
* Must have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
