This driving and armed post involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
* Monitor and report any security-related issues or hazards observed during patrols, documenting incidents as required by site protocols.
* Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed, following established protocols for government locations.
* Control access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and helping to maintain order within the premises.
* Remain alert and prepared to respond to changing situations, adapting to the unique environment of a government correctional facility.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* An armed guard card or license is required.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Two or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience are required.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
