As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible, respond to various situations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity while working closely with your team.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to address situations as they arise.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
* Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to site-specific protocols.
* Interact with staff, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related awareness.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site procedures.
* Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with company and location-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

* A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required.
* An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
* Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
* A minimum of six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
