Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Unit in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local law enforcement when appropriate. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, remaining prepared to work in an armed post while following all applicable post orders and weapon handling protocols. * Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or high-value asset locations to help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations. * Assist with access control, visitor screening, and/or employee escort activity as directed, while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns common to banking and financial services locations. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age. * Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * CPR certification is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
