Responsibilities: As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As an Armed Officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will be responsible for monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment, and you will be expected to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification, as it involves armed duties. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Responsibilities: * Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary. * Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required for positions in the job state. * Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas. * An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required. * Texas Security Professional Armed Guard Card is required for positions in Austin. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
