As an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-traffic government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, coordinate with site stakeholders, and support orderly access and operations. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local laws, licensing requirements, and post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities and surrounding perimeter areas, including entrances, corridors, platforms, and parking areas, documenting observations and reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access, coordinating with site leadership and local responders as directed.
* Complete security-related reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarm systems when assigned, and communicate clearly with supervisors and public agency personnel to support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

* The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
* Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
* An Armed Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
