Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Armed Commercial Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to conduct patrols in a vehicle and interact with tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
* Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
* Work closely with tenants, visitors, and/or staff to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
* Document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
* Follow all company and client protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

* An armed guard card or license is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
