What You'll Do: * Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to support the protection of assets and people at financial institution locations. * Provide customer service to clients and visitors while maintaining a professional presence. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and reporting protocols. * Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. * Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items. * Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or client site management. * Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to established procedures. * Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate relevant information to team members and/or site management as needed. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required. * Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
