Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Escort in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
* Carry out patrol duties while armed, adhering to all applicable protocols and regulations regarding the carrying and use of firearms.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and support site security-related objectives.
* Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
* Work collaboratively with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
* Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and/or customers.
Minimum Requirements:
* Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
