As a Security Officer - Armed Access Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in a government location as an Armed Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
* Monitor access points and help to regulate entry and exit by verifying credentials, processing visitors, and/or directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
* Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity and notifying appropriate contacts.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or policy violations.
* Support front lobby and entry operations by maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary badges or passes, and communicating access instructions with professionalism and courtesy.
Minimum Requirements:
* Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or 5years security-related experience or a college degreein criminal justice.
* Possess an armed guard card/license.
* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
