Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Area Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer-focused assistance, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and document observations to support timely response. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
* Monitor access points and authorized entry procedures, assist with directing visitors to appropriate destinations, and help to maintain orderly traffic flow in lobbies and exterior areas as assigned.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance from Allied Universal and/or local responders as needed.
* Document security-related incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
