Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact for people and property throughout your assigned area. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility location grounds, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. * Monitor entrances, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas, verifying access credentials and following site protocols for deliveries, visitors, and/or contractors. * Support daily operations by communicating clearly with supervisors and/or site contacts, completing required reports, and assisting with security-related requests as needed. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
