Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Agent in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication.  Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing security-related procedures, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, and/or unauthorized activity; notify site leadership and emergency services as needed.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology-focused offices and/or facilities, including interior spaces, perimeter areas, and parking locations; working conditions may vary by site.
* Monitor access points and visitor flow by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and/or directing guests to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
* Complete detailed reports and logs for patrol activity, incidents, and service requests; communicate observations and hazards to Allied Universal management and site contacts for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

* CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
