Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Afternoon Patrol in Bloomington, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor site access, screen people and/or items, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in job state. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site communication channels. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, screening areas, entry points, and perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or require security-related follow-up. * Support shipping and receiving activity by monitoring access at designated checkpoints, verifying credentials or documentation as directed, and helping to deter unauthorized entry or removal of property. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
