As an Allied Universal Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support access control by greeting team members and visitors, checking credentials, managing sign-in activity, and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic. You will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site leaders. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor and driver sign-in processes, and directing traffic flow to appropriate areas. * Conduct security-related screening of vehicles, trailers, packages, and/or deliveries as permitted by post orders, reporting irregularities according to site procedures. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders. * Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including docks, yards, and perimeter points, and document observations in required logs and reports. Minimum Requirements: * Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * X-ray screening experience is preferred. * CPR certification is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
