This role includes routine patrols, strong communication, and customer service while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.43 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. * Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity according to site guidelines. * Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including gates, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity. * Support security-related operations by observing camera systems, communicating with dispatch and/or site personnel, and reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and suspicious behavior. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
