Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Access Screening in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location. * Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to manage visitor registration, deliveries, and/or contractor access in alignment with site protocols. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate. * Maintain detailed activity and incident reports, document unusual events, and relay relevant information regarding access concerns, policy violations, and/or facility needs. * Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas, entrances, and perimeter locations as directed, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
