Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Conley, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location. * Monitor entrances, gates, guard stations, and/or designated access points to help support authorized access for personnel, vendors, and delivery traffic in a logistics and distribution environment. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, parking areas, trailer yards, docks, and/or warehouse access points, as assigned. * Prepare clear, timely reports related to access activity, incidents, and other security-related observations, and report concerns involving facility operations, equipment, and/or restricted areas. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
