What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
* Monitor access control points, verify credentials, screen visitors, vendors, and/or drivers, and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
* Document arrivals, departures, incidents, and/or unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating access restrictions during operational disruptions and/or emergency situations.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, loading and receiving zones, the business, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
