Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel. Your presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will help address concerns and provide assistance. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards, keeping in mind the unique environment of chemical and petrochemical operations. * Monitor for unusual activity or conditions that could impact the security-related integrity of the location. * Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a visible presence. * Document observations, incidents, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. * Have supervisory experience. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
