Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Access Control in Superior, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities. What You'll Do:

* Assist with access control procedures at the chemical and petrochemical location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
* Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries, and assisting visitors and personnel as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols for the site.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related irregularities or concerns.
* Document observations and incidents in detailed reports, communicating findings to Allied Universal management and client representatives as appropriate.
* Collaborate with site personnel to support security-related operations and maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
