Eligibility Requirement:Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of residency in Canada to meet site-specific security clearance requirements.
Position Overview
Allied Universal is seeking a vigilant, detail-oriented Security ID Administrator - Bilingual (English and French) to support security operations through continuous monitoring, accurate reporting, and effective incident response. This role combines security operations with administrative and customer service responsibilities, requiring professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor alarm systems and CCTV to identify and assess potential security threats.
* Operate a Security Desk, providing professional front-line support and assistance.
* Deliver high-quality customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
* Accurately document and report incidents, access requests, and daily activities.
* Perform administrative duties including data entry, email correspondence, and record management.
* Assess risk levels and determine appropriate responses.
* Manage remote access to secure areas, ensuring authorization compliance.
* Conduct routine inspections of security systems and equipment.
* Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
* Maintain detailed logs for compliance, audit, and operational review.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Must be Bilingual (English & French)
* 1-2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center, Security Desk, or similar environment.
* Administrative and customer service experience in a professional setting.
* Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
* Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnight shifts.
* Minimum age of 18 years.
* High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum five (5) years of residency in Canada.
* Proficiency with security technology, wireless communication systems, and access control systems.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
