Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Shift in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic petrochemical location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols and staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel while delivering customer service with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements, backed by a caring team that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading and unloading points, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
* Control access at gates and/or designated entry points by verifying identification, logging visitors and vehicles, and directing deliveries to approved locations per site requirements.
* Complete detailed reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
* Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
* State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
