Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity. * Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and communicate with staff and/or first responders when needed. * Observe and document conditions, hazards, and/or unusual activity, and help support a professional environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Minimum Requirements: * A guard card/license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
