Responsibilities: As a Security Guard - Train Fare Enforcement in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist passengers and staff, and communicate clearly while responding to concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:30 PM - 02:30 AMTue04:30 PM - 02:30 AMSat04:30 PM - 02:30 AMSun04:30 PM - 02:30 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding grounds. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures. * Conduct regular and random patrols of transit buildings, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. * Monitor access to restricted areas and report unauthorized entry, hazards, damaged property, and other security-related issues according to established reporting procedures. * Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with dispatch, site personnel, law enforcement, and members of the public. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. * Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. * Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
