Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - Team Lead in Barrie, Ontario.

Location: Barrie, ON
Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $21.71
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 2300-0700hrs

Overview :
We are looking an experienced and highly skilled Security Guard - Team Lead to oversee the security
operations. The general purpose and function of the Security Guard - Team Lead encompasses the professional
operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a single shift at
an Allied Universal(r). client's site.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
 Staff Scheduling and Shift Management: Create, manage, and adjust duty rosters to ensure full
coverage of all security posts, including after-hours and weekends when necessary.
 Schedule Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability by covering shifts or adjusting work hours in
response to staffing shortages, emergencies, or special corporate events.
 Coordination with Facilities and Operations: Work closely with facility managers and corporate
operations teams to align security schedules with office access hours, cleaning staff, and
contractor visits.
 Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure all team members adhere to corporate policies
regarding data protection, confidentiality, and compliance with financial industry regulations.
 Supervise Security Team: Lead, manage, and supervise a team of security personnel to ensure
efficient and effective security operations.
 Access Control Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the access
control system, ensuring proper access permissions are assigned and monitored.
 Incident Reporting: Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with
internal teams and external authorities as needed.
 Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact in case of emergencies, including medical
incidents, fires, or other safety-related matters.
 Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email
correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
 Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for security staff on emergency procedures,
access control protocols, and the use of security systems.
 Customer Service and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for any securityrelated queries or concerns from employees, contractors, or visitors.

REQUIREMENTS :
 Proven experience as a Security Guard - Team Lead or similar role, preferably in high-security
environment.
 Excellent administrative and computer skills are a must, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
and security management software.
 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
 Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
 Must be at least 18 years old.
 High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
 Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
 Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
