Responsibilities: As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and customer service skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. This post requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns. * Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other disruptive behavior within the retail environment. * Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed. * Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, confirming credentials when required, and assisting with crowd management. * Assist with the implementation of emergency procedures, including evacuation and/or shelter-in-place protocols, as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management. * Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
